Haryana, April 21, 2025: The Haryana government has announced compensation for farmers whose crops and property were destroyed in recent arson incidents. Farmers in areas like Hisar and Jind have reported heavy losses due to fields being set on fire during protests and unrest. The government has pledged financial assistance to help the affected families recover from the damage.
Along with financial relief, the state will provide agricultural support such as seeds and fertilizers to restore the livelihoods of the farmers. This move follows strong calls from the farming community for urgent action. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar assured that the government would take necessary steps to prevent future incidents and protect farmers’ interests.
