She pointed to India’s resilient economy, structural reforms, and young population as key strengths contributing to this recognition during the IMF-World Bank Spring Meetings.
Sitharaman also mentioned that India’s achievements in digital infrastructure, green energy, and manufacturing through initiatives like ‘Make in India’ were well-received. The appreciation from international bodies reflects growing global confidence in India’s macroeconomic stability and its role as a pillar of sustainable global development.
