Dinajpur, April 19, 2025 — The postmortem of Bhabesh Chandra Roy, a prominent Hindu leader from Dinajpur, has been completed following his abduction and death earlier this week. Roy, 58, was abducted from his home in Basudebpur village by four assailants and later found dead in Narabari village with severe injuries. Roy was the Vice-President of the Biral unit of the Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad.
Authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident. Abdus Sabur, Officer-in-Charge of Biral Police Station, confirmed the completion of the postmortem but withheld details of the report. A case is being prepared, and police are working to identify and arrest the suspects involved.
