
New Delhi, April 18, 2025 – Union Minister for Electronics and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, stated that India-made electronic products are increasingly gaining global recognition, reflecting the success of the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Vaishnaw emphasized the rising demand for Indian electronic goods in international markets, citing improvements in quality, innovation, and manufacturing capabilities.
He noted that initiatives such as the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme and strategic partnerships with global tech firms have helped Indian manufacturers compete at a global level. Vaishnaw added that the electronics sector has seen rapid growth in exports, contributing significantly to India’s vision of becoming a global hub for high-tech manufacturing.
