Dehradun, April 18, 2025 – Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has ordered a crackdown on illegal foreign nationals residing in the state, instructing police to identify and deport those without proper documentation. During a meeting with senior officials, CM Dhami emphasized strengthening border security and taking swift action against unauthorized immigrants.
Additionally, CM Dhami urged the police to balance a tough stance on crime with maintaining a public-friendly approach. He stressed the importance of law enforcement that is effective yet does not alienate the local population, ensuring a strong relationship between the police and the community.
