Patna, April 18, 2025 – The Election Commission of India’s (ECI) training program for booth-level agents (BLAs) in Bihar has received widespread praise for its effectiveness and clarity. Aimed at boosting preparedness ahead of the upcoming elections, the program covered voter list verification, addressing discrepancies, and maintaining polling transparency. Political parties and election observers hailed the initiative for strengthening grassroots-level electoral processes.
Conducted across several districts, the sessions featured expert-led training, simulations, and interactive discussions. Participants found the program highly beneficial in improving their electoral knowledge and readiness. Encouraged by the success, ECI is considering replicating the training model in other states to ensure free, fair, and inclusive elections nationwide.
