Bhubaneswar, April 17, 2025 – The MSME sector in Odisha has gained fresh momentum through the recently held PM Vishwakarma Conclave, aimed at empowering traditional artisans and craftsmen. Organized by the Union Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, the event spotlighted initiatives to enhance access to financial aid, training, and modern tools for the state’s rural entrepreneurs.
The conclave also stressed the importance of preserving traditional skills while embracing innovation. Both state and central government officials affirmed their support for local talent and emphasized the role of MSMEs in boosting Odisha’s economy. The event marked a key step in bridging the gap between heritage industries and national development efforts.
