Hyderabad, April 15, 2025: Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa has been ruled out of the remainder of IPL 2025 due to a recurrence of a shoulder injury. The injury, which had troubled him prior to the 2023 ODI World Cup, flared up again during the current season. Zampa participated in SRH’s first two matches as an Impact Substitute, recording figures of 1 for 48 and 1 for 46 in high-scoring encounters.
In response to Zampa’s unavailability, SRH has signed 21-year-old Karnataka batter Smaran Ravichandran as his replacement. Ravichandran, who has experience in domestic cricket, is expected to bolster the team’s lineup for the upcoming fixtures. SRH’s next match is scheduled against the Mumbai Indians on April 17.
