Poonch, April 12, 2025 – The Indian Army mourned the loss of Subedar Kuldeep Chand, a Junior Commissioned Officer who lost his life during a counter-infiltration operation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. He was critically injured during the encounter and later succumbed to his injuries. The Army paid homage to his courage and offered condolences to his family.
