Raipur, April 11, 2025 — Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai laid the foundation stone for the state’s first semiconductor manufacturing plant, marking a major milestone in the region’s industrial growth. The facility is expected to significantly boost the state’s presence in the electronics and technology sector, generating employment and attracting investment.
The plant, which aligns with the Centre’s “Make in India” and semiconductor mission, will play a crucial role in reducing the country’s reliance on imports and strengthening domestic chip production. CM Sai said the project reflects Chhattisgarh’s commitment to embracing advanced technologies and becoming a hub for innovation and manufacturing.
