New Delhi, April 10, 2025 – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to launch a nationwide campaign titled ‘Waqf Reforms Awareness Campaign’ from April 20 to May 5. The campaign aims to educate citizens about Waqf-related issues and highlight the party’s commitment to transparency and reforms in Waqf property administration across the country.
Party leaders stated that the campaign will include public meetings, seminars, and outreach programs at the district level to raise awareness and mobilize support for changes in the functioning of Waqf boards. The BJP emphasized that the initiative is rooted in ensuring accountability, proper use of Waqf assets, and addressing grievances related to encroachments and mismanagement.
