
New Delhi, March 29: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has launched a revamped digitization project to modernize its Archives and Records Management Division. The initiative, inaugurated by MEA Secretary Dammu Ravi, aims to enhance the preservation and accessibility of historical diplomatic documents through advanced digital archiving techniques.
Speaking at the event, Ravi highlighted the importance of digitization in streamlining record-keeping and ensuring secure access to crucial foreign policy documents. The project aligns with the government’s broader digital transformation efforts, reinforcing transparency and efficiency in managing India’s diplomatic records.
