New Delhi, March 28, 2025 — Auto sales in March are expected to remain strong for two-wheelers and passenger vehicles (PVs), while commercial vehicle (CV) sales may see a decline, according to a report by Nuvama. The report attributes the growth in two-wheeler and PV sales to improving consumer demand, new model launches, and seasonal factors.
However, commercial vehicle sales could be impacted by lower infrastructure spending and financing constraints. Analysts suggest that while the overall auto sector remains positive, the disparity in segment performance reflects evolving market dynamics and economic conditions.
