Jayam Ravi moves base to Mumbai following divorce
On September 25, Jayam Ravi was spotted arriving at the Mumbai airport. The PS 2 star donned a graphic shirt teamed with denim. The actor greeted the paparazzi at the airport.
The actor returned from shooting for his films in Chennai. As per paparazzi account Viral Bhayani, “the actor has recently shifted base to Mumbai, opened his office here, and is in talks with major production houses for upcoming projects.” Talking to the paparazzi, the actor shared that he is gearing up for hs film Brothers on Diwali and will also be prepping for a few hindi films.

On September 9, the PS 2 actor took to his social media account to share the news of his separation from his wife Aarti, 15 years after their marriage. The news came as a shock to the fans of the actors as he requested privacy in the tough times. Days later, his wife Aarti, has now shared a lengthy note on social media alleging that the announcement of divorce was made without her consent and has affected her children. She has also asserted that the decision to ‘walk out on the family’ was of the actor alone and called it ‘one-sided’.
Following Jayam Ravi’s announcement, his wife Aarti penned a lengthy note regarding the same. Taking to her social media on September 11, she wrote, “I am deeply shocked and saddened by the recent public announcement regarding our marriage, which was made without my knowledge or consent. After 18 years of shared history, I believe that such a significant matter should be handled with the grace, respect and privacy that it deserves.”
In her post, Aarti alleged that her husband and actor Jayam Ravi refused to have a dialogue with her regarding their relationship and rather made the announcement publically. She added, “For some time, I have sought several opportunities to speak directly with my husband, hoping to have an open dialogue in a manner that honours the commitment we made to one another and to our family. Sadly, that opportunity was not afforded to me, leaving both my children and me completely blindsided by this announcement. The decision to walk out of our marriage is purely one-sided and does not benefit our family.”
