DoE Announces Online Admissions for Delhi Government Special Schools

New Delhi, March 8, 2025 – The Directorate of Education (DoE) has announced online admissions for Delhi government-run special schools, covering entry-level classes and Classes 1 to 9 and 11. Selection will be based on seat availability, with a draw of lots if applications exceed available seats. Direct entry is granted for Classes 6 to 9 from recognized schools, while Class 6 applicants will undergo a basic skills assessment.

The guidelines outline age criteria with a six-month relaxation in some cases. Special provisions prioritize Delhi residents, set eligibility criteria for students with disabilities, and offer hostel options for non-residents if seats are available. Preference is given to applicants with siblings in special schools.
