New Delhi, March 7, 2025: Union Minister Kiren Rijiju emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s focus on finding a long-term solution to the ethnic violence in Manipur. Speaking at the India Today Conclave, Rijiju expressed hope for peace and stressed that understanding the problem is more crucial than a visit.
Rijiju also praised Home Minister Amit Shah’s four-day visit and the imposition of President’s Rule, noting that these efforts are helping restore peace. He credited the BJP’s success in the Northeast to Modi’s vision, contrasting it with the Congress’s inability to address regional issues over 65 years.
