Srinagar, February 28, 2025 – J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced plans to establish AI labs in all universities across the Union Territory. Speaking at Kashmir University’s National Science Day 2025 event, he emphasized that “AI is the future, and no job is at risk.” He also stressed the need to train faculty in AI to equip students with advanced technological skills.
The event, organized with Vigyan Bharti and the Science and Technology Council, focused on innovation, skill development, and entrepreneurship. Sinha highlighted India’s global innovation ranking and credited startups from smaller cities for driving the country’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem.
