New Delhi, February 28, 2025 – The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has ruled in favor of IAS officer Loteti Sivashankar, directing the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) to immediately assign him to the Andhra Pradesh cadre. The tribunal also instructed DoPT to issue official orders within four weeks, facilitating his transfer back to Andhra Pradesh.
Earlier, Sivashankar was relieved from Andhra Pradesh and had reported to Telangana following DoPT’s directives. With CAT’s latest order, he is now set to return to AP cadre, marking a major relief for the IAS officer.
