Opposition leader Omar Ayub has criticized Naqvi’s leadership, citing repeated failures under his tenure. Pakistan, hosting an ICC event for the first time in 29 years, was eliminated after consecutive defeats against New Zealand and India.
Former Prime Minister and cricket legend Imran Khan also condemned the PCB’s management, warning that favoritism in decision-making could ruin Pakistan cricket. He questioned Naqvi’s leadership, suggesting that a responsible official would step down after such a disappointing performance.
