President Murmu prayed for divine blessings and the country’s progress, expressing hope that Lord Mahadev’s grace would guide India on the path of development.
Amit Shah also greeted citizens, emphasizing the festival’s spiritual importance as a symbol of devotion, faith, and self-reflection. He described Mahashivratri as a celebration of the union of Shiva and Shakti and prayed for the welfare of all.
