Guwahati, February 25, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Advantage Assam 2.0 – Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025, highlighting India’s economic growth amid global uncertainties. He underscored Assam’s strategic importance as a gateway to Southeast Asia and its potential to attract investments in infrastructure, electronics, renewable energy, and tourism.
The summit has brought together Union Ministers, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs to explore Assam’s development opportunities. Key discussions focus on transport, railways, agriculture, and civil aviation, while an exhibition featuring over 150 industries and entrepreneurs showcases the state’s industrial and traditional strengths.
