They focused on improving working conditions, social protection, and creating sustainable employment opportunities, particularly for vulnerable sectors.
Mandaviya emphasized the need for labour reforms, while Houngbo commended India’s progress and reaffirmed the ILO’s commitment to supporting the country’s efforts in building a more resilient workforce. Both leaders highlighted the importance of a unified approach to tackle global labour market challenges.
