New Delhi, February 19, 2025: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is offering internship programs in 2025 for undergraduate and postgraduate students in engineering and science fields. Candidates can apply through their institutions, with selection based on available slots and Lab Director approval. The internship duration ranges from 4 weeks to 6 months, and applicants must be between 19 and 28 years old.
With over 50 labs across India, DRDO provides interns opportunities to work on real-time defense research projects, though access is limited to unclassified areas. The program does not guarantee employment and is not covered under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Selected candidates will receive a stipend between ₹8,000 and ₹15,000 per month.
