Amaravati, February 18, 2025: Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer has appointed new Vice-Chancellors for several state universities. Professor G.P. Rajasekhar from IIT Kharagpur will be the Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University. Professor Prasanna Shree, an English professor at Andhra University, has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Adikavi Nannaya University for a three-year term, while Professor K. Ramji will serve as the Vice-Chancellor of Krishna University.
Other appointments include Professor Uma as Vice-Chancellor of Padmavati Women’s University in Tirupati, Professor H. Sudarshan Rao as Vice-Chancellor of JNTU Anantapur, Dr. Venkata Basavarao as Vice-Chancellor of Rayalaseema University in Kurnool, and Professor Allam Srinivas Rao as Vice-Chancellor of Vikrama Simhapuri University in Nellore district.
