The devotees were on their way to the Mahakumbh festival when the accident occurred, leaving several others injured. Rescue teams were promptly deployed to assist the victims.
President Murmu extended her condolences to the bereaved families and wished the injured a quick recovery. She also commended the local authorities and medical teams for their swift response, acknowledging the impact of the incident on the ongoing Mahakumbh gathering.
