
New Delhi, February 15, 2025: The British High Commission in India has opened applications for the 2025 India Young Professionals Scheme (IYPS), offering Indian graduates aged 18 to 30 the chance to live, work, or study in the UK. The first ballot will run from February 18 to February 20, and only selected applicants can apply for the IYPS visa, which costs £298 (₹32,513). Eligibility criteria include holding a bachelor’s degree or higher, maintaining £2,530 (₹2,76,037) in savings, and not having dependent children.
A total of 3,000 visas will be issued in 2025, with most allotted in February and the rest in a July ballot. Selected candidates will be notified within two weeks and must apply for the visa within 90 days.
