Kurnool, February 15, 2025: The district administration has declared Narsimha Reddy Nagar a red zone after confirming a bird flu case. Strict measures, including a ban on poultry sales and public awareness campaigns, have been enforced. Officials inspected the area, while Minister TG Bharath assured the public and emphasized proper disposal of infected birds.
Meanwhile, in Ambedkar Konaseema, authorities have imposed a district-wide ban on chicken sales. Municipal staff have sealed meat shops and buried infected birds in Mummidivaram, warning shop owners to comply as officials continue monitoring the situation.
