Prayagraj, February 15, 2025: Over 3.3 million devotees gathered at the Maha Kumbh Mela to take a holy dip at the Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers. Pilgrims from across India and abroad participated in the ritual on the auspicious occasion of Mauni Amavasya, seeking spiritual purification and divine blessings.
Authorities ensured smooth crowd management with extensive security arrangements, deploying thousands of personnel and volunteers. The festival also featured grand processions led by saints, seers, and Akharas during the Shahi Snan. Officials reported a peaceful atmosphere as devotees performed the sacred ritual with deep faith and devotion.
