Kolkata, February 13 – Schools in West Bengal and Telangana will remain closed until February 16, 2025, due to state holidays and festivals. In West Bengal, the closures are in observance of Shab-e-Barat on February 13 and Panchanan Barma Jayanti on February 14, with additional days off for government employees, combining with the weekend.
In Telangana, schools will be closed from February 14 to 16 for Shab-e-Barat and the birth anniversary of Sant Sewalal Maharaj. Though the holiday on February 14 is optional, many schools are expected to close for the observance. The break will give students a three-day respite from academic activities.
