    Chandrababu Naidu Leads Key Discussions on Andhra Pradesh’s 2025-26 Budget

    Vijayawada, February 13 – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met with Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav and senior officials to discuss the 2025-26 state Budget. Held at his Undavalli residence, the meeting focused on balancing welfare schemes with state development while addressing financial challenges and fulfilling key government promises.

    The state faces difficulties in preparing the Budget, despite central funds for major projects like Amaravati and Polavaram. Officials cited the negative impact of YSRCP policies on the state’s fiscal health, with the state ranking 17th out of 18 in the fiscal health index. The Assembly session begins on February 24, and the Budget is expected to be presented on February 28.
