Ongole, February 12, 2025: The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) has introduced a special bus service for pilgrims traveling to the Maha Kumbh Mela. APTDC Chairman Nookasani Balaji flagged off the bus from Ongole, announcing its route through Nellore, Vijayawada, Rajamahendravaram, and Visakhapatnam to key destinations like Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Gaya. The week-long pilgrimage, accommodating 45 passengers, will conclude on February 19, 2025.
Another bus service has also been launched from Tirupati via Nellore and Ongole, ensuring modern amenities for a comfortable journey. Highlighting the significance of the initiative, Nookasani Balaji stated that this is the first time such advanced bus services have been organized for the Maha Kumbh Mela, emphasizing APTDC’s commitment to enhancing spiritual and tourism experiences for devotees.
