    India’s Energy Transformation: PM Modi Promotes Investment and Sustainability at IEW’25

    New Delhi, February 11, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraged investors to tap into India’s growing energy sector, citing ambitious renewable energy goals like 500 GW capacity and 5 million tonnes of green hydrogen by 2030. Speaking at the India Energy Week 2025 (IEW’25), he emphasized India’s strategic advantages, including resources, innovation, and political stability, making the sector ripe for investment.

    Reflecting on India’s progress, Modi highlighted the country’s rise to the 5th largest economy and its expansion in solar power. He assured that India is on track to meet its 2030 energy targets, including net-zero emissions for Indian Railways. The IEW’25 aims to foster international collaboration and promote sustainable energy solutions globally.
