Prayagraj, February 7, 2025 – Authorities in Prayagraj have directed all schools up to Class 8 to shift to online classes due to the heavy influx of Maha Kumbh 2025 pilgrims. The order, issued by the Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA), applies to government and private schools in urban areas and will remain in effect until February 12 to ease traffic congestion.
With Mouni Amavasya (January 29) and Basant Panchami (February 12) drawing millions of devotees, authorities aim to prevent disruptions in daily commuting. Schools have been instructed to ensure continued learning through digital platforms.
