Visakhapatnam, February 5: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has ordered the demolition of illegal constructions at Bhimunipatnam beach, near Visakhapatnam. A committee, including the District Collector, CRZ zonal officer, and other officials, has been tasked with examining the structures to determine if they are illegal and, if so, to recommend their demolition.
The court also instructed the committee to submit a detailed report before the next hearing, which is scheduled for next week. If the report is not submitted on time, the officials will be required to appear in court. This order follows a petition filed by Janasena Corporator Murthy Yadav seeking the demolition of the illegal constructions at the beach.
