New Delhi, February 3, 2025 – A key meeting on Andhra Pradesh bifurcation issues was held at the Union Home Ministry office, chaired by the Home Secretary. Senior officials, including the Chief Secretaries of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, participated in the discussions. The meeting focused on pending issues between the two states, including financial allocations, asset distribution, and unresolved matters from the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act.
Officials also deliberated on funds to be released by the Central government as per the bifurcation law. Sources indicate that efforts are being made to resolve financial and administrative disputes to ensure smooth coordination between the two states.
