    Adani Power to Expand Capacity by 1.7x, Aiming for 30.7 GW by 2030

    Mumbai, February 3, 2025 – Adani Power Limited (APL) plans to expand its generation capacity to 30.7 GW by 2030, a 1.7x increase from its current 15.25 GW. This growth will come from brownfield expansions (4.8 GW) and acquisitions (10.62 GW), reinforcing APL’s position as India’s largest private thermal power producer.

    The company is focusing on technological advancements such as supercritical and ultra-supercritical technologies to boost efficiency while ensuring environmental compliance. Additionally, APL is optimizing logistics, manpower, and sustainability practices to enhance long-term operational performance.
