Vijayawada, February 1, 2025: Chief Minister and TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to visit New Delhi on Sunday to campaign for BJP candidates ahead of the Assembly elections scheduled for February 5. As per his itinerary, Naidu will first participate in a program on Saturday in Sambepalli Mandal, Ammayya district, to distribute social security pensions. He will then proceed to Hyderabad before heading to the national capital.
Sources indicate that Naidu will join BJP leaders to campaign in regions with a significant Telugu-speaking population. As a key ally of the BJP-led NDA government, the TDP continues its significant role at the national level. In the 2024 general elections, the party won 21 Lok Sabha seats, second only to the BJP’s 246 seats.
