Tirupati, February 1, 2025: The village of Naravaripalle in the Tirupati district, the native place of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, is set to shine with solar energy as part of the PM Suryaghar initiative. Under this pilot project, the nearby villages of E. Rangampeta, Kandulavaripalle, and Chinnarama Puram panchayats have also been selected for implementation.
The project involves installing solar panels on 2,300 houses across these three panchayats. Solar panels have already been installed on 25 houses in the Kandulavaripalle panchayat, including Naravaripalle. The Chief Minister recently instructed officials to complete the project by Ugadi. Panels are being provided free of cost to SC, ST, and BC households, while others can avail themselves of loans under bank subsidy schemes.
