Amaravati, January 31, 2025: The Andhra Pradesh government has launched the “Mana Mitra” WhatsApp governance service, aimed at simplifying public services for citizens. In its first phase, 161 services, including temple bookings and room reservations, are available via a WhatsApp chatbot, with plans to expand to 360 services in the next phase.
The initiative also offers municipal services like trade licenses, property tax payments, and garbage charges, along with services from departments such as Revenue, Police, and Public Grievances. This move ensures that citizens can access essential services without the need to visit government offices, making governance more accessible and efficient.
