Vijayawada, January 30, 2025: MP Kesineni Sivanath emphasized the importance of expediting approvals for Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) of key railway projects in Andhra Pradesh. He urged state and central authorities to collaborate closely to ensure timely clearances, enabling faster execution of pending railway infrastructure projects. Highlighting the growing demands of the region, he stated that enhanced rail connectivity is crucial for economic growth and improved public convenience.
The MP pointed out that DPRs for several projects, including new rail lines and modernization initiatives, have already been submitted and are awaiting approval. He called for prioritizing projects that address critical transportation needs and enhance connectivity between major cities and towns in the state. Kesineni assured continued efforts to secure central support for these initiatives.
