Hyderabad, January 28, 2025: Star hero Venkatesh’s movie “Sankranthiki Vasthunam,” released on January 14, has become a huge success, especially among family audiences. The film has grossed ₹276 crores globally in just 13 days, including 2.7 million dollars in North America. The movie continues to do well at the box office, with audiences flocking to theaters for a festive treat.
The film’s OTT release is also in the spotlight, with G5 acquiring its digital rights for ₹30 crores. Though initially scheduled for release in February, there are discussions about delaying the streaming due to the ongoing theater rush. Venkatesh has also achieved a career milestone, becoming the first senior actor to surpass ₹250 crore in Tollywood. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film features Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary.
