Visakhapatnam, January 27, 2025: Minister Nara Lokesh appeared before the Visakhapatnam court today for the defamation case against Sakshi newspaper, accusing it of making false allegations. The hearing was postponed to January 28, 2025, as the opposing lawyers failed to appear for cross-examination.
Speaking to the media after the session, Lokesh reaffirmed his commitment to the legal battle, asserting that he would fight until the case reaches a logical conclusion. He emphasized that, during his tenure as minister, he traveled by bus to the party office, ate his own food, and did not accept any resources from the government. Lokesh added that his mother, Bhuvaneshwari, taught him to be independent and never rely on the government.
