    Russia-India Partnership Set for Stronger Collaboration, Says President Putin

    Moscow, January 27, 2025: President Vladimir Putin extended his warm wishes to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on India’s 76th Republic Day, emphasizing the “special and privileged strategic partnership” between Russia and India. He expressed confidence in further strengthening bilateral cooperation across various fields, aligning with mutual interests and contributing to a fair multipolar international order.

    Putin also acknowledged India’s progress over the past 75 years, celebrating its achievements in socioeconomic, scientific, and technical sectors. He noted India’s growing global influence and authority. President Putin is expected to visit India later this year as part of reciprocal engagements, with dates to be confirmed in early 2025. Both leaders maintain regular contact through phone calls and meetings at international events.
