New Delhi, January 25, 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has notified medical aspirants that the APAAR ID is not mandatory for NEET-UG 2025 registration. Candidates can register using other available means, which will be outlined in the upcoming information bulletin. Previously, NTA had asked students to update their Aadhaar details and integrate their APAAR ID (formerly ABC ID) to store academic credits.
Additionally, NTA had required linking Aadhaar with a valid mobile number for OTP-based authentication and updating credentials as per the Class 10 Marksheet. The NEET UG 2025 registration process will begin soon, and the syllabus is now available on the official NTA website. The exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode on a single day and in a single shift.
