New Delhi, January 11, 2025: India’s commercial real estate market saw a notable rise in average deal sizes in 2024, with a 10.24% increase year-on-year. The average deal size grew from 37,976 square feet in 2023 to 41,867 square feet in 2024, driven by increasing demand for higher-quality office spaces and longer lease commitments. Hyderabad led this trend with the highest average deal size of 70,535 square feet, a 10.13% rise from 2023.
Mumbai also experienced significant growth, with its average deal size increasing by 54.59% year-on-year to reach 40,150 square feet. This surge is attributed to improvements in infrastructure, better connectivity, and greater confidence from occupiers in investing in premium workspace. The overall growth reflects the increasing focus on quality and long-term stability in the commercial real estate sector.
