New Delhi, January 11, 2025: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rain alert for Delhi-NCR this weekend, forecasting significant rainfall along with a cold wave. The minimum temperature is expected to dip further, with Delhi’s temperatures ranging between 6°C and 20°C. Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram will also experience similar conditions, with Ghaziabad seeing minimum temperatures as low as 5°C.
In addition to the cold wave, dense fog has enveloped parts of Delhi-NCR, significantly reducing visibility and causing disruptions in train services. Officials reported that a thick layer of fog in the national capital on Saturday morning led to delays of 45 trains. Authorities have advised residents to take necessary precautions during this period of inclement weather.
