    Minister Nara Lokesh Hails Infosys for Enhancing Youth Skills with CSR Initiative

    Amaravati, January 10, 2025: Infosys has partnered with the Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) to provide technical support for the Skill Census program, aimed at enhancing youth employment opportunities in the state. In a ceremony attended by Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, Infosys committed to offering a digital platform for pre-validating candidates’ skills using generative AI, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, at no financial cost to the state.

    Minister Nara Lokesh commended Infosys for its contribution, emphasizing that this collaboration will help assess the skills of the youth and align them with market demands. The Skill Census program is designed to provide targeted skill development training, improving the employability of the state’s workforce. The partnership is expected to streamline skill validation processes and create more effective training opportunities for the youth of Andhra Pradesh.
