The accused—Karan Brar, Amandeep Singh, Kamalpreet Singh, and Karanpreet Singh—are facing charges of murder and conspiracy related to Nijjar’s killing on June 18, 2023. The Surrey Provincial Court allowed their release ahead of their trial in the British Columbia Supreme Court, with the next hearing set for February 11, 2025.
