    Tirupati Tragedy: PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi, and CM Naidu Lead Outpouring of Grief

    Tirupati, January 9, 2025: National leaders have expressed deep sorrow over the tragic stampede at Tirupati, which claimed several lives. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the incident unfortunate and assured that the government is providing all necessary support to the victims and their families. He extended his prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured.

    Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also conveyed his condolences, describing the incident as deeply saddening. He expressed his sympathy to the bereaved families and wished for the quick recovery of the injured. He also urged Congress leaders and workers to assist the victims in every possible way.

    Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed shock over the incident and held discussions with senior officials, including the DGP and TTD EO, to monitor the situation. He criticized the failure of precautionary measures and called for a review of the token distribution and safety protocols. YSRCP President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also expressed his condolences, deeply saddened by the loss of lives in the stampede.
