Jayapal’s remarks follow reports of widespread violence, including property destruction and desecration of temples.
The MP urged the Bangladeshi government to take stronger measures to safeguard religious minorities and called on international organizations to hold those responsible accountable. She also stressed the need for interfaith dialogue to promote harmony and peace among communities.
